Tina Marcellis, M.A.

Owner/COO

Tina earned her Master’s Degree from Ball State University in Special Education with a concentration in Advanced Applied Behavior Analysis in 2018.  She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Kaplan University in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior University in 2014.  She has been accumulating professional experience in Autism since 2013 and personal experience as a parent of a child diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder since 2006.


Kristin Baxter, MS, BCBA, LBA

Clinical Director

Kristin is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and State of Michigan Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). She has been certified with the BACB since November 2019 and in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2018. Kristin earned her Master's in Psychology from Capella University with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development. Prior to graduate school, Kristin earned her Bachelor's in Psychology from Central Michigan University. Professionally, Kristin has interest in supporting the growth of the field by supervising credential seeking trainees, school integration with ABA Therapy, and play based interventions. Her current scope of practice includes individuals 0-18 diagnosed with Autism, and co-morbid diagnosis including but not limited to, ADD, ADHD, ODD, OCD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Tourette's Syndrome, and variations with communication and eating disorders. 

Kristin stated, "The best part of my role is having a fundamental impact on the families we serve and the staff we employ. I truly enjoy coming to work every single day knowing I have the opportunity to cultivate meaningful change for others." 


Karlene Rench, B.A., BCaBA, LABA

Assistant Clinical Director

Karlene is a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst and a State of Michigan Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst. She has been accumulating professional experience in the field of applied behavior analysis since 2015. Karlene earned her Bachelor's degree through Cornerstone University with a major in general studies and minors in math and music. She completed behavior analysis coursework through the Florida Institute of Technology.


Kristen Sherman, MS, BCBA, LBA

Clinical Supervisor

Kristen is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2016. She earned her Master's in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis, and has enjoyed working with a variety of clients since beginning her career within the field. Before starting graduate school, she earned her Bachelor's in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University, worked as a paraprofessional in various classrooms, and spent evenings volunteering with Area 9 Special Olympics. Kristen enjoys working with clients of all ages, and her favorite part about working in the field of ABA is having the chance to help clients learn to advocate for themselves and to increase their independence with daily living skills. 


Shayla Gonsalves, BS, BCaBA, LABA

Clinical Supervisor

Shay is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) and State of Michigan Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA). She started in the field of behavior analysis in October of 2017 and became certified with the BACB in June of 2022. Shay earned her Bachelors of Science from Western Michigan University in Behavioral Science with a focus in Autism Treatment. Her areas of interest include the development of verbal behavior, alternative forms of formal communication, the application of behavior analysis to daily life, and active implementation of self-care practices in the field of ABA. Her current scope of practice includes treating individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and co-morbid diagnosis including but not limited to: ADD, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Apraxia, OCD, ODD and variations with communication disorders. Shay states "I find joy in ABA when I witness my clients blossom into who they are as people, and their ability to share themselves with their families and with others in the community."
